Mimi is from Fairhope, Alabama, a coastal town on the Gulf of Mexico. Currently, they are a student at Haverford College (‘23) and the University of Pennsylvania, pursuing Urban Studies and Environmental Planning. Growing up in a family of Vietnamese and Thai immigrants, they have always known food to be a language of love and connection. In their work with Fishadelphia, they hope to share the same love of food with others through seafood, building a community that centers love of land, water, and ancestry in their day to day living.
